Abstract: An 8 page research paper on the development of artistic techniques between 1300 and 1700 in The Netherlands, Flanders, Rome, Spain, Italy and France. Various artists' works are discussed in terms of evolving techniques, including Da Vinci, Van Eyck, Michelangelo, La Tour, Velazquez, and the Boucicaut Master. Other influences are also presented. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
