Three Major Challenges to the Global Political Economy: International Trade Policies, Globalization in Developing Countries, and Sustainable Development

Abstract: This is a 5 page paper discussing three of the major challenges to the global political economy. Recent developments in the global economic community have led to several concerns and challenges which must be met politically and economically in order for an effective transition to take place among all nations active in international trade and those nations which should not be neglected in the process. Three of the major challenges to the expansion and continuation of the global political economy are the development of a workable international trade policy which would relate to the interests of all nations, the continued development of globalization in terms of technology and development in developing nations, and the increase in the level of sustainable development so as not to damage the environment beyond repair for future generations.
