Abstract: A 5 page research paper that examines the relations between Mexico and the US as they apply to the clothing and fashion industry. Many clothing and fashion manufacturers are taking advantage of the labor market in Mexico, sending down textiles that have been precut and are ready to sew, receiving back finished goods. In negotiating the terms of these agreements, both parties are prepared to get the very best deal that can maximize savings and still preserve quality. Details are crucial and have to be worked out across language and culture barriers. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
