Development Of Website Access For The Handicapped

Abstract: The Internet is becoming one of the primary sources of educational, economic and employment oriented information and services. Many people use the Internet to shop, to learn about current events and educational subjects, to communicate with others worldwide and to promote their goods and services. This 5 page paper argues that adaptive systems and software have been developed for the impaired individual that enables them to access computer capabilities such as the Internet. It is now up to the developers of websites to ensure that the handicapped individual is able to make use of their goods and services. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
