Programs for the Elderly: Sharing the Costs and Responsibility

Abstract: A 7 page discussion of the societal needs of our nation's growing elderly population. Emphasizes the need for social integration into mainstream American and a move away from the segregation many of our elderly face as a result of their living situation and lack of transportation. Encourages coordinated action between the government and the private sector in regard to meeting elderly needs. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
