Abstract: A 7 page overview of the evolution of man from his earliest beginnings in Africa to the division of the Neanderthal and Homo erectus. The Homo erectus line eventually led to modern man, Homo sapiens. The author reviews the latest developments in evolutionary theory and encapsulates the steps which led to each of these developments.
