Beta Blockers

Abstract: A 5 page overview of the drug class referred to as Beta Blockers. Describes the wide range of applications in which these drugs are used including cardiac applications and opthamologic applications as well as less-commonly thought of applications such as the treatment of migraines. Distinguishes between selective and non-selective beta blockers (including propranolol, timolol, nadolol, betaxolol, and atenolol among others) and describes the benefits and possible problems associated with each.
