Elderly Programs: Facilitating Elder Leisure Activities

Abstract: A 6 page discussion of the importance of integrated leisure services programs for the elderly. Emphasizes the importance of not only meeting the basic needs of food and housing among the elderly but also of meeting their emotional needs. Identifies integrated leisure services as a means of accomplishing this and suggests that government agencies and private citizens alike should cooperate in programs designed to address related factors such as housing locations and ransportation as well as in the development of leisure services programs.
