The Internet and Performing Arts

Abstract: A 23 page paper which discusses how the field of dance has been enhanced through the emergence of the Internet. Through the Internet people can more easily access events, information about dancers and dances, easily purchase tickets, and find out almost anything they wish to know, as it is related to dance. They can even view Internet dance, which is becoming an art form in itself. Prior to the Internet, obtaining information regarding various dancers, dance productions, and other information related to the field of dance, was something that one had to diligently seek out. With the Internet this information is right at one's fingertips. Bibliography lists 17 sources.
