IRANIANS in the United States

Abstract: This 5 page paper discusses that Iranian school textbooks teach that Iranians are only in the boundaries of the country. There is no mention of Iranians outside of Iran, and there is no mention of a single female role model. However in folklore it is said that, ``Iranians are like water in a vase. If the vase is a globe, they become a globe; if the vase is long-necked, they become long- necked.'' Resolving this duality, or living within it, is the challenge presented to Iranians who are now living within the United States. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
