The Middle Class: 1960s - 1990s

Abstract: A 9 page paper that explores specific questions related to the American middle class population. The paper is formateed as a case staudy that uses U.S. Census Bureau data as the source of invormaiton. Three questions are addressed: 1.) Has the proportional aggregate income of the "middle class" in American changed since 1950? 2.) Has the "middle class" decline in the U.S. since 1950? 3.) Is there a difference in the proportional aggregate income of middle class white Americans and black Americans? 6 tables are included. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
