North American Hutterites

Abstract: A 7 page paper discussing ways that the Hutterites keep modern society at bay yet use the best of that society as well. Material things are neither good nor bad in the Hutterite perspective - it is individual reaction to them that ultimately dictate their importance. Of all similarly-structured religious groups, the Hutterites likely represent that most able to adapt to technological change without allowing that technological change to adversely affect their culture.
