Communication in 'Rainman'

Abstract: A 5 page paper which discusses various aspects of communication as illustrated in the movie 'Rainman.' The communication atmosphere is discussed in the context that Cruise's character is intent on communicating and Hoffman's could really care less. Through discussing the movie and personal experiences of this writer, the developmentally disabled are illustrated as very unique individuals when it comes to what they can teach us about communication.
