Cultural Relativity

Abstract: A 5 page paper. The concept of cultural relativity was first proposed in 1934. It basically means judging another culture fairly, based on that culture's own values and standards as opposed to judging a culture unfairly based on one's own standards. Cultural relativity has become more commonly known as multiculturalism. This essay discuses this concept and also offers examples of the results of a lack of cultural relativity.
