The Cinematic Style of Auteur Director Stanley Kubrick, As Seen in "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "A Clockwork Orange"

Abstract: An 8 page paper which analyzes the cinematic style of auteur director Stanley Kubrick by first providing a brief background and history of the filmmaker, considering thematic and stylistic consistencies which characterize him as an auteur, an examination of how these consistencies manifest themselves in "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) and "A Clockwork Orange" (1971), then concluding with how Kubrick's style relates to the thematic consistencies represented by the films of director David Lynch.
