Why Women Are More Religious Than Men

Abstract: A 10 page paper. Women have always been more involved in religion than men, despite the fact that men have always held the positions of authority and power in the churches. Women were, in fact, instrumental in the spread of Christianity to the Roman Empire. One of the major challenges church pastors face is getting men more involved in church activities. Why is this? Why are women more religious than men? These questions are explored, including the social aspects of religion and the psychological effects of being religious. Survey data included.
