Illegal Immigration from the South

Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing the effects of increased illegal immigration from Mexico and its effects on the immigrants themselves and added strain on public services. There is no "quick fix" in sight, particularly as long as employers choose to look past obviously forged work permits and other immigration papers during the hiring process. The issue will need to be addressed in a meaningful manner, however, and the optimum time is now, before the heady "new economy" begins to level off in its growth. Then, job pressures will add to those tensions that already exist. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
