Operating a Pharmaceutical Company in the Mideast

Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing considerations of opening a US-based regional office serving the Middle East and North Africa. The pharmaceutical industry in the mideast is developing rapidly, and Jordan has been approved for export into Britain. Entering the market entails the same attention to sales and marketing as does any enterprise, but in the pharmaceutical industry of the mideast it also involves building an alliance with Cairo's pharmacy school, combatting piracy in the industry and being a good corporate citizen in providing liaison services with WHO to ensure that the poorer nations o the mideast also receive the benefit of pharmaceutical access.
