Economic Questions and the Concept of Elasticity

Abstract: This 6 page report discusses six separate issues related to economics and price and demand elasticity. Issues affecting the relationship between prices and advertising are considered. A comparison of French and Australian wines and the equilibrium price of French wines and how it relates to a poor harvest are discussed. Opportunity costs, the indifference curve, the relationship between price elasticity of demand at the local movie theater, and the demand for oil in the face of increased oil prices are briefly discussed.
