Corporate Social Responsibility Around the World

Abstract: Attitudes toward corporate responsibility differ among cultures and general economic standing. Those developing nations still struggling to feed their own people without outside assistance understandably have other priorities ahead of corporate social responsibility. This paper examines the positions and actions of three companies: Wal-Mart in the US, Namaste Leather in India and DaimlerChrysler in Germany.
