Destiny's Hand

Abstract: There are many instances in life where it may feel as though destiny has leaned down and taken a hand. It is sometimes a small thing, however, it can - and often is - life changing. This 5 page paper asserts that in Shakespeare's Macbeth, the witches are a life changing influence upon Macbeth. In the movie, Chinatown, the character of Noah Cross shapes the destiny of Jake Gittes and in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Tom Doniphon steps in to change the future of Rause Stoddard.
