Violence Against Women

Abstract: This 10 page paper considers the thesis that violence against women is predominately a symptom of a male dominated patricidal society. The paper looks at the evidence for this thesis, arguing that it can be seen as endemic in the social structures of society which are self perpetuating. The paper goes on to look at this from the hierarchy and attitudes of the judiciary and government through to the social norms in the community which are all supported by the media. The bibliography cites 10 sources.
