Economic Development in Phoenix

Abstract: A 5 page paper examining reasons that business and workers continue to move to Phoenix. The population of 3 million grew by 80,000 in 2000, a rate of growth expected to continue for several years. Phoenix has shown no signs of inner city decay that has been common in other rapidly growing areas, and in fact only Atlanta is growing at a faster pace. The paper lists factors that planners will need to address, as well as those that make Phoenix attractive to business. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
