Deviance in "American History X"

Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing racial hatred and deviance as they exist in the skinhead movement and as they are portrayed in this film. Within the movie and within the international skinhead movement, it appears that exposure does increase activity. As that activity becomes more common, people come to be more accustomed to it and less troubled by it. The most troubling deviance may not be that which drives the skinheads, but rather that which allows the movement to grow by adding greater numbers. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
