Abstract: The development of company policy is a process that takes into account the situation, the personnel involved and the options that may be available for responding to a crisis. This 7 page paper argues that a clearly written media policy allows the company to control, at least to some degree, the way that it is represented by the media and how it might be perceived by shareholders and the general public.
