Prescription Drug Regulation in Australia

Abstract: A 5 page paper discussing Australia's efforts to both increase and decrease government involvement in control of the pharmaceutical industry. The nation also faces the same kinds of public health issues common to all developed nations. The government has difficulty reconciling its desire to control with its desire to reform itself; in the public health sector, the interests of the pharmaceutical industry often carry more weight than perhaps they should.
