Suicide: Nature And Treatment

Abstract: 8 pages in length. Suicide is a topic of conversation, like other unpleasant subject matter, is typically avoided at all costs. This knee-jerk response is both understandable and dangerous at the same time, inasmuch as it does not address the importance of prevention. The reasons that people commit suicide are varied and complex; however, for the vast majority of those who either attempt or succeed, depression serves to be the catalyst of death.
