Judge Not

Abstract: The scriptural reference to 'judge not, lest ye be judged' found in the New Testament gospels of Luke and Matthew is well known, over utilized and often misconceived. This 15 page paper asserts that the Christian exegesis tends toward interpreting the scripture as being addressed to the individual rather than to a social definition of judgment and to the moral aspects of inner understanding rather than the outer behaviors of the individual. Bibliography lists 13 sources.
