Life In The City / Advantages & Disadvantages Of Urban Life For Children

Abstract: A 7 page paper considering the ways in which living in urban centers is associated with advantages or disavantages. Focus is on lower-income families in the inner city, for whom many of the cultural advantages of the city do not apply, the challenges they face, and the effect of these upon the children. Successful urban improvement programs to address these difficulties are described as potential advantages to urban children. Bibliography lists 24 sources.
