Abstract: 5 pages in length. A very prominent misconception within the human world is that eyesight is the one and only way in which an individual can see. This presumption, however, which is based upon nothing more than interpretive evidence, completely disregards the existential element of human perception that allows for a significantly better understanding of one's existence than the inherent limitations of vision ever could hope to do. The 1999 Irwin Winkler film At First Sight is instrumental in illustrating just how damaging literal imagery can be to one whose entire life is based upon a significantly more esoteric perception though his own mind's eye.
