Person-Centered Counseling

Abstract: 11 pages. This paper is focused on that type of counseling known as person-centered counseling. As the name implies, this type of counseling is patient-friendly and based on the close and immediate focus of the patient's emotions and needs. The paper will be based on the adult client with issues of abandonment in childhood. Because of these background issues the person-centered core counseling emphasizes genuineness and caring in the short term and long term counseling goals. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
