Abstract: This 15 page paper outlines the need for a childhood injury prevention program for the community and that a good place to begin such an awareness campaign is with programs such as the Red Cross Babysitting programs. However, the paper goes beyond this to the larger concept at hand, which is that children in communities around the country are dying at large rates.
