UK: Refugee And Asylum Seekers

Abstract: 6 pages in length. Finding a safe place to live is of no concern to populations of many global nations where peace reigns supreme; however, for those in battle weary countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Somalia and Sri Lanka, relocating becomes critical for survival. The United Kingdom is one place where refugees and asylum seekers flock in order to escape political turbulence in their own countries. The manner by which the UK addresses this steadily growing annual influx is part and parcel to maintaining the cycle of life where people must run and hide or die trying to escape persecution.
