Analysis of the United States Textile Industry

Abstract: 15 pages in length. Analyzes at length the trends in the United States textile industry in regards to the supply, demand and global context of the industry. There are many places that manufacture textiles other than the United States, and some are of very good quality; however, in relation to consumer income in most cases these textiles are just part of a process rather than the final product. Most of the goods produced by the textile industry go to other manufacturers to be used in the manufacture of their product, whether it is clothing, carpeting, or automobile seats. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
