Paris: A 'Global City'?

Abstract: 5 pages in length. The extent to which Paris might be considered a 'global city' is found quite clearly within the expansiveness of Mathieu Kassovitz's "La Haine" and Michael Haneke's "Code Inconnu." Examining various historical and cultural features, one might be led to such an understanding by way of gaining a significantly better perspective of what truly defines a global city.
