Homelessness: Rates, Causes, Conflicts and Solutions

Abstract: This is a 7 page paper discussing the rates, causes, conflicts and possible solutions to homelessness in America. The issue of homelessness within the United States has been studied from many different perspectives. From one perspective, homelessness is seen as a very serious problem which must be overcome from a national initiative to combat poverty and create affordable housing. Studies over the past three decades have tried to determine the main causes of homelessness in America and what solutions can be used to decrease the number of homeless people in the country.
