Minority Leadership in Corporate America

Abstract: a 12 page research paper that attempts to evaluate where minority leadership in corporate America stands today. The writer points out that there are two basic slants on minority leadership in corporate America being espoused in the media today. The first point of view is that corporate America is seeking to diversify its work force at an exponential rate as it has been realized that diversity is a key element to successful globalization, and that minorities are entering management in record numbers. The second point of view, one that is predominant in African-American publications, is that twenty plus years of affirmative action have seen very little real gain in the percentages of minorities that are in the upper echelons of corporate management. Both views are well argued in the media--which is correct? Bibliography lists 10 sources.
