Is America Breaking Apart

Abstract: This 8 page paper considers the question of whether America is breaking apart. In Is America Breaking Apart, John Hall and Charles Lindholm considered what some view as the decline of the American culture, and assessed some of the central influences of modernity on the structure and status of the American social identity. Hall and Lindholm utilize modern day examples to prove their view that while Americans fear losing their way, there is a greater degree of social uniformity than many think.
