Ethical Standards In Two Industries

Abstract: A 24 page paper that compares the ethical standards of reducing services in the health care industry to reducing services in the information technology industry. An introduction states the comparion may not be as easy as it would appear. Examples are provided to illustrate the point. The essay explains three theories of ethics and with the use of specific scenarios, demonstrates how the reduction in services in each industry might be ethical or unethical. The last section of the paper is an overview with more examples and comments suggesting a valid comparison can be made only case by case. Annotated bibliography lists 15 sources.
