Morality Should Not be Legislated

Abstract: This 5 page paper is an opinion piece that focuses on ways to argue a position. A prompt submitted by a student is used as a springboard for a discussion on writing a persuasive paper. The majority of the essay is about why morality should not be legislated. Various political parties and their ideas are discussed along with examples from a variety of topics. Drug use, prostitution, pornography and abortion are issues explored. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
