Abstract: 4 pages in length. Indeed, it is an American reaction to wonder why there cannot just be peace around the world. The United States is a country that relies upon its benevolence and understanding to keep it out of the grips of war; the inherent sense of security that comes from this is not likely experienced in any other part of the world. There is constant tension in so many global countries for so many of the same reasons: political fear, civil unrest, dictatorships, nationalism and ethnic conflict.
