Stem Cell Transplantation: A Personal Perspective

Abstract: A 9 page review of the issues surrounding stem cell transplantation. The author distinguishes between embryonic stem cells, bone marrow stem cells, umbilical cord stem cells, and peripheral blood stem cells. While there is considerable controversy surrounds embryonic stem cell transplantation, we as a society must recognize both the realities and the potentials in this situation.
