IT Strategy

Abstract: This 8 page paper is written in three parts. The first part defines corporate strategy, an IT strategic plan, IT capital plan and an IT acquisition management plan and how they relate to IT in a company. The second part of the paper discusses the importance of the acquisition strategy and the third part of the paper considers the changes that may be implemented by a new IT department manager in terms of assessing the acquisition of IT assets.
