Abstract: A 14 page overview of the many considerations of palliative care. Emphasizing palliative care for terminal breast cancer patients, this paper points out that our focus on pharmacological and clinically-based interventions are often myopic, that we need to consider alternative treatment regimes on a case-by-case basis.
