The Evolving Role of Pharmacists

Abstract: A 3 page contention that the role of pharmacists in today's health care environment is progressively becoming more involved in patient welfare. This transition, although deeply resented by much of the medical arena, is justified given that the degree of knowledge which pharmacists have in regard to drugs could be expected to decrease the degree of error which could cause patient harm.
