Abstract: 10 pages in length. New Jersey reflects but one of fifty states in America where domestic violence has reached epidemic proportions. It is also the most aggressive state to address the issue. In an outright attempt to decrease the ever-increasing incidents of domestic violence, New Jersey has passed the most sweeping laws in the nation.
