Against Euthanasia For Homeless Animals

Abstract: 8 pages in length. The value of a life is based upon the worth of its existence; that a global society of animal lovers constantly strives to reduce the number of euthanized dogs and cats taking place on a daily basis speaks to the inherent significance of these sentient creatures. Indeed, the pet overpopulation problem has animal welfare groups scrambling more than ever before for a viable solution to drastically reduce the prevalence of euthanasia for wholly adoptable animals, however, the quick and easy option of killing them continues to stay at least one step ahead of the elusive answer.
