Strategic Communication

Abstract: An 8 page paper discussing communication within the organization. It is commonly accepted that communication is most effective within the organization whose corporate culture encourages open and multilateral communications. Further, in today's hypercompetitive business environment of the Information Age, there is less allowable margin for error than at any other time in the past. Though effective and strategic communication has always been important within the organization, today and in the future it is and will remain a critical feature of business. It is within this context that this paper provides a literature review examining communication within the contexts of leadership; organizational culture; communicating difficult news; and goal setting. Bibliography lists 11 sources. Includes an abstract.
