Abstract: 6 pages in length. The fundamental nature of Human Services reflects a combination of competency, values, ethics and a core understanding of how the impact of one's words has the ability to completely alter another person's life; with so much power and persuasion, it stands to reason why professionals in this industry have to answer to a higher attribution of values and ethics. Not only must one's personal values stand independent from those that define Human Services, but they must also cohere with those same industry values as a means by which to create a synergistic approach to moral and principled application. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
