Company Economic Forecast

Abstract: A 5 page paper providing a description of the economic conditions in the area served by Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina. The 160-bed hospital is a private non-profit and therefore is not obligated to accept patients who cannot prove ability to pay. Unemployment is high in the local area and many do not have health insurance. The paper recommends that the hospital conduct community health fairs to identify illnesses in early stages and to recommend public health facilities to those qualifying for their services.
